Limerick.....Jazzy's Challenge ( True Story )

There once was a Viking named Sven.
Sailed to Greenland and Iceland back when.
Found the Isle of Man,
Wasn't part of his plan,
but his offspring have lived there since then.

About this poem:
My Paternal Great Grandad came from the Isle to Canada,
The original family name was Thorstein,but was changed a few hundred years ago to Costain.I still have distant relatives around Colby in the old Family Manor. Hee Hee ! Hi George !!

just awesome... I have to research my destinations to the T whenever I travel and comb the net for every information I can get my hands on to. Your limerick makea me wonder just how much courage they had in those days to cross the seas not knowing what's waiting on the other side... thumbs up cheers
