NANA

Though mem'ries of the words you spoke
still linger in my mind,
The vision of your withered face
no longer can I find.
Reflections of your gentleness
inspire me today.
To reach out to the ones I love
and help them on their way.

If when my numbered days are done
and lifes' final days are through.
I pray that things you taught me
might still be cherished too.
By those who never knew you
but whose lives you truly blessed.
I love and miss you Nana !
I've tried to do my best.
