Pray For the Children of War

The children knelt in silence
as the missionary prayed.
The Taliban destroyed their home
where twenty orphans stayed.
" Lord keep us all together,
help to guide us on our way.
Bring this madness to an end,
protect us from the fray."

Pray for All the children
living in war ravished lands
Not ever having known peace,
but only the horrors of war

Thank you Lisa. Someday maybe men will find
a better way to settle their differences.
Then the children can live their childhoods
as they should.

Just the issue of land mines is enough to make you upset at what these kids have to go through so a few undeserving companies like Lockheed Martin can profit off of fake wars. Vietnam comes to mind and so does the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars. Lets not forget the war zones kids live in this country with a 15 year old senselessly gunned down last week in Dubuque, Iowa.
