Envious tears

Envious tears

If ever I do see a red, red rose as fine as thee.
I shall pluck the beauty from where it be,
Toss to the ocean and set it free.

If ever I cross a caged bird of flight,
I’ll set it free on a star lit night.
I’ll watch it as it disappears ,
And dry my face of envious tears.
