I finally woke up

I finally woke up after I almost broke up
Like a car racing down the track,
To many mirrors and always looking back
Picking up speed, warning signs I didn’t heed
Then crash, bang, brakes, oh God, oh damn
Twisted remains with birds picking at the brains
Finally gone insane, holding on and embracing the pain
Flashing blue light in the middle of the night
Friends say will he be okay? What made him go that way?
Fractured parts like a jigsaw puzzle, take him away like a dog in a muzzle
It’s not a pretty site, what the mind can do in the night

Hi, cumongirls2,
"Sleep that knits up the ravelled sleave of care" meets Fractured parts like a jigsaw puzzle...It’s not a pretty site, what the mind can do in the night. Each path to resolution is unique...made easier by the presence of Friends. Thanks for sharing.
