Imagination

Imagination

I purposely waited for your lungs
To exit out every each of air as you silently slept
Closed eyes except for the mind’s eye…wildly open
To accept the inhaling of your life… your breath

It’s a visualization of love waiting
Waiting to be engulfed while taking you in
Like a tree standing against the roadside
Overlooking the coastal line of a 17 miles drive
In Carmichael as the wind freely blows

Imagine soft raindrop butterfly kisses
With your face wrapped inside
Of bright rainbow colors
And your smile causes deep ocean waves to stand still
Just to embrace the beauty of your spirit
Can you hear it…can you feel it?

I imagine you…the audience holding on to your…
Seats to take on notes played by John Coltrane
Like the pulse that beats
Between the up and down motion of your heart
And love shall be not unlike the blood
That travels through your vain

Imagine a nation…a world…where
Love just flooows before you even awake out of your slumber
Just before your feet reach the surface
Listen…it’s…almost a soft… whisper of laughter
Of happy rainbow people of all color, creeds, sizes and whateverother
All jammin’ to the Imagination song and sounds
Produced by nature…hmmm…Mother!
Imagine that if you will
