"BEEN AND GONE!"
Father Christmas has been and gone,
Though 'til he returns, it won't be too long,
Presents and dinner have been presented with pride,
Old toys and wrapping have been cast aside,
And, soon it will be time to remember,
Whilst maybe, looking into the fire's dying ember,
And old memories may bring a tear,
But, then a smile, as you welcome a Happy New Year.
