Woke up this morning to a strange day
The year was 2013
Now life is lived in the strange way
A way I had never seen

Once I rode with the lone ranger
And a close friend to superman
But now I feel like such a stranger
Living in a strange land

Even the weather seems out of place
The world is out of rhythm and time
Death is staring everyone in the face
People are losing heart with so much on their mind

What lies beyond the bend
Do we look for the sun to shine
Do we fear to stumble again
Or a rock and a hard place be the bind

It's as though a map has been drawn
With a water color blend
Which way is right or wrong
Just change the channel and still see the view of a strange land
