I give myself to you

You can take my body,
but my spirit lives on.
My power and my presence
live forever once I'm gone.

Yes I had my doubts,
is there anyone there?
The cruelty on this world,
there's not many here who care.

But I give myself to you,
to the people of the lord.
I sacrifice my body,
please listen to my words.

I've endured all this for you
I've spilled my blood for sin.
All the sins of this torn world,
lay now with me and him.

Please hear my voice again
and believe that good is true.
Don't fall back into evil ways,
for this world needs me and you.
