pain commenced an evil twist some call it fate others call it woe this to me you bestow a change of heart this is the start as my mind goes to and fro darkened dungeons beconning calls my heart in confusion builds a wall blocking any intrusion hid away from the world today this wall it is my dungeon alone i wait my fate my head it hurts i swear it feels as if hit by a truncheon
Yes lost love is even more painful than the pain of being in love, both very strong yet opposing emotions, good write. Rob

Painful darkhorse. Yet sometimes we have to experience pain to feel the pleasure of what love and life is/. At least \I read it from OSHO and it is sometimes if not almost always true for me.
Hope it will be replaced with joy soon.

It does get complicated.. Sometimes it's for the best.
You write well.

...the pain. So perfect...so absolute. Pain is the last resort away from everything that failed you. That kind that doesn't hurts ; it cures you and makes you stronger. Your religion that doesn't need churches or altars but the purity of your soul. Pain loves you more than you love it, because its love is infinitely great and kind and you don't have to believe in pain...pain believes in you. Pain had never deceived anyone. Once you entrusted it, you can fully and finally understand the meaning of love. Here's a hug DH!
As My Favorite Artist Mr Leonard Cohen said in his wonderful song.
There ain't no cure for love.
I now embrace all the love I have known.. and smile with the memory of its joy, and I try not to focus on the pain and loss side of things. Its tough to do but,it turned my thinking.. and life..in a very positive way. Lots of love sent to you on your quest for someone special.
I couldn't bypass this one! It's extraordinary how much one can learn both from a poem and comments, and sympathize with, knowing well what it's all about. Love definitely hurts if unrequited, as it mostly is, and even when requited it still hurts, still love is the only thing worth every single tear, so
Here’s toast to love, which is so great, So overwhelming that you only question Where it comes from, out of what place Pounds blood sustaining your devotion!
Thank you, dear poet, for sharing it with us!

This is a very moving poem. We have all been there but with pain there is growth and this is often followed by renewal. With pain, we often become better at loving and allowing ourselves to be loved. Write more

I can identify with these words. Enjoyed.
They say:
"Love Is A Madness... without a cure"
