You have the buildings You have the sights Like Sears Towers now called Willis Tower 108 stories and 1,451 feet tall You color your Chicago River Green for St. Patrick's Day You have two baseball teams The Cubs and the White Sox You have the Bulls for basketball You have the Blackhawks for hockey You have the Bears for footballs My kind of town Chicago is My kind of town Chicago is People who smile at you My kind of people too Each time I roam Chicago is Calling me home Visit the parks Chicago has over 500 of them Visit the beach It's on Lake Michigan If you've got money to burn Walk the shops of the Magnificent Mile If you're short on cash and need something free to do Visit the Lincoln Park Zoo My kind of town Chicago is My kind of town Chicago is My kind of people too People who smile at you Each time I roam Chicago is Calling me home

About this poem:
This is a parody of Frank Sinatra's My Kind Of Town. Went to Chicago with a friend this last Tuesday. We couldn't get out and walk around because his friend was out of town and he couldn't afford to park his car so we just drove around Chicago for four hours sightseeing.

Chicago must be breathtaking! Wish I could visit it some day. A tour around it in a car would also suit me if there were no other options! God bless and protect America and all the world! Many thanks for acting as our guide in this poem!!!
smmerwind, thanks for the comment. I have an aunt who lives right next to San Francisco. I made it to Arizona in 1999, the same time the Columbine massacre happened. I saw the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Phoenix, and alot of cacti.
marikia, thanks for the comment. It has been some time in the early 90's since I have seen Chicago. I was at the top of the Sears Tower and that view was awesome. All your problems seem to fade away at 1,400 feet.
