THE OBOE

A young musician played the oboe,
To most the instrument's a NO-NO,
Conductors often will say,
It is very difficult to play,
And only the most talented could,
'cause-
It's an ill woodwind what nobody blows good !

Very funny, Studecar. Though I know there's real truth to it. My son played the trombone when in high school and boy was I ever glad he learned to play it well. wow laugh daisy

I thank both of you for reading. I don't know why this poem just happened, but many years ago, there was saying which I haven't heard since those years ,which was as follows, "It's an ill wind which blows no good". Some one in the music field must have had it in for an oboe player when they revised the statement,as is my last line. Larryhandshake applause

Jyonnah, Trombone was my major instrument, it's a fine instrument but it has some hurdles also.
