My heart and soul are with the victims and injured. God bless and help them! The shock I endured when hearing the news wouldn't leave me. Terrible! Thank you for reminding us by this poem that we can never be sure of peace. When will people come to senses and stop acting like monsters, I wonder?!

Yes Joy, I am with you in this moment, in these moments
Hi, Odette67, rapturecapture, darkhorse555, shadow1950, cameal6, paloma66, smmerwind, marikia, Fellsman, beautifulyou, and Jyonnah. Thank you for you kind responses to my haiku and to our tragic situation. With one suspect killed and another at-large with towns in a temporary lockdown, it is nice to have your compassionate words to help restore a positive balance to this seemingly fragile world of ours.
Its a horrible thought to think. And a horrible thing that happened. I dont think there is hope at all but a decaying society with no chance to be better. Thank you for a wonderful haiku GNJ...jesse

Hi Joy,
Certainly as more details come to light on this incident, the unutterable sadness of it leaves one a little numb. Those innocents that lost their lives and the many mamed. Just madness.

Joy, So real are your few words. Yes, I pray peace will come. Take care.
Hi, trurorob, Sad times, indeed. Let's hope that our resolve is to live in peace, not fear. Thank you for taking the time to read and share your feelings.
It's a lovely Haiku Joy, I wish it wasn't part of our world to have to deal with these things but we do. I hope all of your family and friends are safe.
