The "Cat" in the Hat

the crowd was gooving
I felt his neck
his body
well rested within my plans

he hung his head at me
I threw all
my chilling hat voice
where ever it may land

till he over rode
I had no choice

slipping a riff
all heart
and the hat

I coiled
and
then they sat

the waves of sounds
lifting

like wayward warriors
stricken alone

I played
to all that moaned

so within my soul
I kept so silent

flares of beautiful glam

to go back stage
and munch

on yummy
green eggs and ham
