Beauty

My hair woven in curls, afro high and plump
My skin dark brown, with golden highlights all over my body
My eyes so deep and enchanting as if they dare you into the mystery
My lips full pouting and as red as valentine roses
My ocean deep curves beckon you to explore them
Me in my raw state, some may claim it to be natural beauty,
With no cosmetics, with no false pretenses.
But beauty is more than skin deep, so lets take a peak inside
at the beauty of my kindness, which my shyness always seems to hide.

About this poem:
Heya poetry corner, its been a while :/ such a vain poem but its deeper than how superficial it comes across, well to me anyway.

Nice to see you Lori and beautiful you are.angel Shyness is not all that bad as long as it dosen't isolate you from everyone.

I don't see it as vain, but as comfort with yourself. That is something that we all should strive for and hopefully find. Self love is can be hard, but beautiful if you allow it. Nicely written.

there is more than the skin deep
that is so obvious from where it ended
this is what got me interested in your poem from the start
this was missing for awhile
its your signature style of expression
one that is well suited coz its simply
being who and that who is you!
