Words flowing as sweet wine to crystal flute Lips caressing sweetest fruit from the vine All sense of conversation seems so moot Grapes turning into raisins before eyes Is it the destination where dreams die A place where clouds form to hold mighty rein A place where dignity can hold head high Sometimes victory is not a pleasure Words no longer needed all has been placed Silence echoing as if loud thunder Slowly out of the mist rises the erased And what was is no longer, nor will be Like a birth of a new innocent life Forming union of devil and his wife

Hi Happy
There are plenty of allegories in this somewhat surreal write to test the attention powers of the reader - I await Part 2 of this poetic journey with keen interest...
Best wishes

I enjoyed this piece Happy, the opening lines just sells itself to a wonderful read.Well penned.
While this feels 'dark,' there's a sense of hope that from the erased a new rising comes... that even the erased cannot be fully erased, having left its imprint on silence
