You know not what you have started With your simple gesture of love Like a spark to start an ignition Came crashing down from above A warmth from within began A smile to share with another All this from your small touch This connected one to the other With sadness lifted I went on And helped a small, scared child His foot within a train track stuck When his play was a bit too wild Now this child is a full grown man A doctor so well reknown Saving lives with his trade Compassion and love is shown Without the love you gave to me This story could not start But you reached out to touch The core of this crying heart So now the boy lives on Touching lives as he goes The story never ending It will never close So stop and think each day For in all we say and do The story keeps unfolding What will this mean to you

About this poem:
A friend inspired this in me by sending me a book called "The Butterfly Effect".
Cloudy this reminds me of a video I once watched with one person helping another right along in a circle It is always my wish we would keep the circle of love going. Thanks so much for sharing I missed you
