Don't Say You Love Me

Don't say you love me
now that my face is still winsome
and my frame bears its grace

Don't show signs of certainty
when friends still lighten my days
and they seemed to like my ways

Don't swear you'll stay
when my heart holds high hopes
and no tears yet upon my eyes

But dare to say you love me
now that i have nothing
not even hope to lend or spare..

Yes, dare to stay forever when no one else would!

This poem reminds me, of a time when i was a teenager..and I came down with an illness, in which all my "friends" abandoned me, and I remember how lonely I felt.IT was however..a good lesson in life about true friends.(there were 1or2 that stood by me).applause comfort handshake hug teddybear And for them I am ever thankful.
