Casual Encounters

Kiss me and calm my wild fluttering heart
Gently swaddled in your protective arms
So fragile is love newborn from the start
Keeping safe from the world and all its harms

Hug me new lover on a summer night
Softly stroke your gentle caressing touch
Fire burning bright, flames of passion ignite
Two souls unbounded in each other’s clutch

Rest now our faces upturned to the stars
Ascending window of heaven a dream
What is life but now love is always ours
As sunlight reflects at night its moonbeam

Pass the desire we have spent on its shores
Brightly both eyes reflect, mine into yours

There are some people who enter out lives , sometimes for only a brief time --but time spent with that person is truly unforgettable --these are surely memories to be treasured ,as you have done Yankee --beautiful poetry indeed wine
