How I wish It was Yesterday
When I would dance the night away
To music that was really cool
From the guys from Liverpool
Ringo, Paul, George and John
Who fascinated everyone
From Europe to the U.S.A.
They had a captivating sway
They played a rocking beat
That made me move my feet
From I Wanna Hold Your Hand
To Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
From Hey Jude with Na Na Na Na
To Desmond and Molly Ob La Di Ob La Da
Yes how I wish It was Yesterday

(Ob La Di Ob La Da was my favourite tune for dancing)

Love this poem - the Beatles are one of my favorites - and very interesting to hear how you enjoyed Dancing the Night Away!
And, I think it goes without saying, this is very nicely written.
For ages, my favorite Beatles' song was "I Wanna Hold Your Hand". But in the last 10 yrs., it changed to "From Me to You".
Very enjoyable(and as I was enjoying this poem, then enjoying remembering some of the songs, an idea occurred to me that I'm going to try out - will just have to see if 'Me' Can Work It Out now
