Well, today was little different than any day spent with my crazy family (wife). As I had a Drs. visit in Clarksburg today, Hilda and son Jimmy accompanied me so as to visit Lowes to see about a new clothes dryer to replace our non-working one. We first visited Lowes and Hilda and clerk Vicki worked out an agreement and said dryer was purchased and to be delivered next week. We then went to some stores and then to the doctor and then to dinner. After dinner Hilda returned us all to Lowes to see if we could instead get the dryer today, load it on the truck, and bring it home. We did. When home we removed the old dryer and then proceeded to bring in the new one and hook it up. We had it in place and were about to hook up the electric plug when, all of a sudden, Hilda explodes! This is a !!^+#@$!! gas dryer! I'm calling Lowes and they're gonna come get this piece of !!^%#^! and bring me the right one tonight!' Which she did. They told her that they could be here Wednesday. I knew not to interrupt wifey when she was unwound, so I didn't. When she finished on the phone I suggested that she take a closer look at the dryer as I believed that it was electric. When she came to realize that the dryer was indeed, electric, we hooked it up and it works fine. I said 'you need to call Lowes back' and when she did I overheard in her apology, the words 'my husband thought it was gas.' I always knew that I was good for something.
Hi, hedistuff, Thanks for sharing the story of a day in the life of 'married man'. Amusingly, the couple seems to have devised a relationship that manages to work for them. I'm sure both husbandandwifey have more stories to tell.
