Thanksgiving

Thank you for this special day,
my family and my friends.
Peace on earth, good will to all-
May freedom never end.
I'm thankful for each second,
I am here to live and love;
and humbled by the grandeur
of the love of God above.

I like your words that I am here to live and love. This is a bright poem. I have been to your area a few times when I went to that part of Arkansas with my parents to see a large statue of Jesus, some caves, and a collection of dinosaurs with a life size King Kong by Eureka Springs. My mom comes from Rivervale, Arkansas in the northeast corner of Arkansas.
