Her Icy Gaze

Perfectly still she lies
Early this winter morn
Light cast in shallow rays
Creeps a sun past distal eyes
Snow spun like cotton
Blankets on the bays
Bouncing ice crystals
Since time long forgotten
Captured in her icy gaze

Chris your verses which are mostly about nature are just wonderful and the scenic beauty it portrays are evident in each of your lines.
