Feather of Ma'at
Fear not the mirror
or drape it in rosy veils;
truth shines,
needs no feminine wiles
or masculine approval
for it to be so.
Pass by pale prisons
and if you stumble on
the rubble of your heart;
fall on knees of charity,
to rise in innocence.
