A poem of Love I ne'er can sing,
Two hearts depart in broken bond,
Lost in the flutter of an Angels wing,
Her teardrops fell on a Love so fond.

In sad reflection I reminisc,
Of lustful days in long meadows unseen,
Our lips locked hard in fervent kiss,
We danced like butterflies on a sea of green.

Caution flung into the warm Summer breeze,
The broken chains of passion unleashed,
Bulging veins on swollen lips the moment was seized,
This Love never end...our spent bodies beseech.

Alas....our Paradise not destined to last,
We loved & lost and cried in vain,
Unending sorrow of a Love now past,
I stare across the meadow and taste the pain.
