Split in half sun over water it crests. Heels of my feet on cedar in full rest. Mug in the hand steamin coffee rests on legs. Mirrored water breakfast ripples of fish that'll bite. Morning mist paints the air over water six feet high. Shore to shore echoes the Loon's day begins. Dog on the dock refract's spears of sun. A mouthful of coffee to take it all in~
Definitely reminds me of one morning at a cottage resort N. Ontario when I was up early to catch bass with a cup of hot chocolate.(No I had a rod for the bass, the hc was for me!)

I'm having coffee now as I take in this wonderful, peaceful poem. Nice work!
