A New Day
A lover's breath
a sweet caress
whispering in my ear
so near please take away my fear.
Shadow of the moon
in the middle of June
glimmer of a star
so near yet so far.
He steals into the night
to take away my fright
please hold me tight.
In the morn
a new day is born
as you reach across
you feel your loss
It was but a dream
brought to you on a moonbeam
