Searching For My Other Half
I searched my heart and couldn't find
the answer for my lonesome kind.
Is there not someone for me,
who could share my destiny?
Should I look under a jeweled stone,
or perhaps towards some twilight zone?
Have I missed my chance for love,
does God look down from far above?
Can't he see I'm half a whole,
longing for another lonely soul?
Where or where could she be,
standing right in front of me?
I wish I knew with all my heart,
or are we both worlds apart?
