Be Afraid Not To Love
Love might cut us raw
Chilled to the bones
It can break us into pieces
Bleeding us dry
It can make us kneel
And bury us alive
Yet it is the only truth
That is constant and unchanged
The only connection
That can join our hands
Melt the beatings of our hearts
Warm our flesh
And fuse our souls into one
Only love
Nothing else
So don't be afraid
To always fall in its realms
Embrace it with trust
Even when doubts
Are like explosives
That can tear us apart
Be afraid not
Grab unto it
Ride its ups and downs
Because when you're cold
Alone and lonely at night
When day seems so long and dark
You'd better believe it
Love is the only truth
That can bring us back to life
Nothing else, nothing
Just love
So be afraid not
Go on, get hurt
Tread the storms in its path
Face it, because
Only in love we're alive
I have never been afraid
Even as tears flow incessantly every night
Because only in love
Can love begets love.

About this poem:
Just more love and I'm so in love more than ever.
NOTE: Two of my best friends, (Tessie, who introduced me here, whom I love to death, wrote me and dedicated a poem for me and is tired of reading my sad broken heart poems, so I will try to write nothing but positive from now on.
I love you, my friend, because without you, the most beautiful love of my life wouldn't have found me. I'm forever grateful and to my dear friend, Sheryl A. You know who you are thanks so much for your care always. So hope both of you my friends are happy now that I love mysel loving him whether he loves me or not.
