On 9/4/2006 a one of a kind inspiration gone long before his time what and how it happened I can only call a truly senseless crime The beloved 'Crocodile Hunter' taken in such an improbable way Steve wouldn't have dreamed his demise being the barb of a Ray
An avid leader in the preservation of all Earth's creatures indubitably the epitome of Mother Nature's teachers His desire for doing good conducive to him becoming a star he lived life with more zeal than most humans by far
Whatever the task his enthusiasm never changed pace heartfelt reward always clearly visible on his face He made us laugh, occasionally even stirred a heart-string sharing his world with us was certainly a passion thing
Danger Danger was his job and nobody was more intrepid no one possibly loved what they do MORE than he did After learning their biggest fan will no longer be near the Animal Kingdom collectively let go a Crocodile tear
I most admired Steve because like me he too was real a true blessing and surely that's how all who love him feel I often think of his widowed wife and the kids who lost dad no doubt they'll gracefully carry on the vision that made him glad
It shall linger long why such misfortune came to be thankfully we can still relive and adulate the work of he With each thought of his passing hearts of fans and family bleed not before nor again will their be another Steve... guaranteed

A wonderful tribute to a great man and all the pleasures he give us people recording his adventures with nature. Well done you you have deftly depicted the man
