One Journey Thru Life

It was dark and scary
I could not see
Just feel
I wanted to turn and run
But that was not to be

Each step I took
I took in fear
And then I felt it
I knew all to clear.

No going back
that wasn't to be
So I went bravely
Alone just me

I made it
to the other side
So sad
A piece of me
had died

Wow. I went back looking for one of your old poems and could not remember the name of it. This was not it. But this, though written a while back seems like it goes hand in hand with your last one posted. "No Excuses" conversing teddybear

A piece of us dies each moment
For it's the basis of development.
When old gone, new appears
That is what Nature assures.

Going back and looking thru some old poems and ran across this one. Wanted to thank those who read and commented and then retrieved it out of the vault and brought life to it once more. Thank you. bouquet I really needed to read it right now. wave

Yes it's good to reflect sometimes and see the challenges and changes we have made so in effect a part of us does die that is connected to something that may need to be put to rest ,

Yes like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly.

Changes

Part of life hopefully change within us for the best,

teddybear
