Inner self
"Why are you making such a fuss?",
"She wasn't who you thought she was.",
"You are such a sucker for love",
My inner self just sounds so smug,
I drown him out with drink and drugs,
The things I do so I don't think,
Like so many driven to the brink,
I know I'm strong,
But yet I'm weak,
My eyes like faucets
Can't stop the leak...
