Oh queen of hearts
You opened up my heart to paradise
You touched my heart
It flew on gossamer wings
The Rose grew within my heart
You were always my queen
The light of my life
As If you were a dream you were before me
Let me open my eyes
Yes there you are
The beauty of my life
The blessed dream that breathes
You are my only beloved
You are the queen of hearts
The Love I have
The Love of a queen
So many would wish to possess
The choice Is ever yours
You are the queen of hearts

About this poem:

I made quite a few friends here, more than i ever had. The light has left. I am going to stay because as far as I am concerned I told my brother I would. I shall keep putting poems on but I shall not be commenting any more. If my brother leaves, that's when I go. I'm one sad bunny tonight.

I'm going to leave this on for myself. If I get so low again I can look at this and say there are still people who care about others. I am on full resumption of service.

Look I understand totally, but hover as I do and many others, until the need to communicate in all forms....I stay purely for the friends I made here, and have seen so many come and go for many reasons.....
Those who disappear suddenly leave an empty void.....but you are a great poet, and so hover.....for your friends.....Kathleen....

Sorry Ken, I have to do ladies first, you know me. You are right Kathleen, I shouldn't push aside friends so easily. For once I didn't use the light to get over the dark. I think you are right, I should hang on In there as others, like yourself are doing. I was only letting myself down by walking, look at the friends I leave behind. That's one way to look at It. Thank you for writing, this has helped me for sure.

Hi Liam, not to worry, I'm still here. I guess I was just feeling low last night. I have friends who make me realize my mistake. I'm here, and I stay with my friends. Feeling good today though partner, The sun is shining and all Is good with the world. Let me dream. The waters on the corner shall become still again. The queen of hearts shall once more reign over me.
