once in a while, you're still able to work your ways on my prison as if I gave you the code so you can come in and out anytime you want
I don't suppose it's a provision of our parting agreement when we dissolved our connections when we decided to kill love knowing that it was still alive
I did say when we move on we'd never look back nor wish any other way, but forward I remember you said, I was the best and I told you, too, that so were you the one I'd have loved forever
now we both know, nothing stays the same even my prison will evolve and the code you hold will change because I am sure, pretty soon I'll be in isolation where nothing exists but memories.

Dear Phyliss, this is so heartfelt. I was connecting to this and when I read the ending, I wept! This is so true! Hopefully time will be our friend and help us move on. I'll be in isolation where nothing exists but memories
