Autumn leaves are falling

Autumn leaves coming down in showers
yellow, orange, brown and red
blanketing the little flowers
tucking them into bed...

Autumn is calling
leaves falling from above
falling like
they're falling in love
with the ground...

Every leaf a flower
autumn is nature's gallery
saving up
for the grand finale!

I think it has to be sad when summer dies, but I recall the huge Harvest Festivals I attended as a child....the bread a masterpiece in the centre....and although spring is so special, autumn which you captured, is special in its own right, and those leaves....are like a confetti thrown at a bridal couple....portrayed beautifully in your poem....Loved it Spartacus....Kathy
