Guilt

thank you everyone!

About this poem:
Witnessed this incident yesterday where guilt was written all over a girl's
face as she was confronted of something wrong she's done. Made me think why humans tend to find it easier to justify the action or become defensive instead of accepting and apologising. The good thing is in this case the young girl has a healthy conscience, guilt made her do the right thing in the end...adults are not that much different.

You make me think of the many instances when our children can't just say it as if is. Indeed my friend, all of us have experienced this one way or another, IMHO.

Teuhanks for sharing.

Hi, orientalkoru,
...when we should accept apologize, be sorry instead we look for silly alibis or even accuse the victims... Yes, people do tend to get defensive when faced with Guilt. Consequently, the "I'm sorry but..." non-apology is too often heard. Thanks for sharing.
