The Traveller

Backwards and forwards through time he travels
Each day much like the other
He continues to seek but does not discover
This burden is so hard to bear

Now and then he passes another
Also on a quest like his
Eyes haunted and face so haggard
Desperation etched in every line

Across the centuries he's been searching
Dim is memory of what he seeks
He's sure to know when he stumbles across it
Until then he will carry on

Hi, steve1223,
He's sure to know when he stumbles across it... And, we can only hope The Traveller knows what to do with it once found. Thanks for sharing the quest.

Almost like a quest for meaning of life...all of mankind seeks for it, all thru the centuries...not finding but always seeking.
Now who can tell of the absolute truth when its heard...that is the real
quest for the Traveller....will he really ever know? dunno wine
