Without A Plan

No visitors today for the lonely old man
And time passes away
Away without a plan

No cards no candles not even a cake
It's early in the evening
But seems so very late

Now at his table with praying trembling hands
He may be the only one to know if it's time for him to go
And by faith he didn't go away without a plan
