A September night you bade Adieu L.A. was calling...we thought it cool To a land of sunshine and endless sand California Dreamin'...those tanned blonde gal's "I will be back for my Yuletide libation's... Turner's will rock with tale's and rotations"
"Ok, see ya at Christmas Mick..your the original Beachboy!"
And then the dark cloud's brewed and gathered The word came through....like a silent sledgehammer A stroke 'twas said took you away To a place we hope you still will play.. That sense of humour, that wicked grin, your tall "Blonde" stories "Mick, that's a sin!"
The Lonely Heart's Club once more will gather In Turner's corner your space will matter An empty chair will cause no sorrow Your five foot one inch frame.......your laughter
The curtain's down, the show is over A bright light shine's....guess who's the owner? We'll miss you Mick your YOUTH and fun After all you're only 81...................
Mick...a Legend!

About this poem:
This is not my attempt at a poem....just s few simple word's I felt I had to put on paper...to acknowledge the untimely passing away of a dear friend in the last few day's. TM
True friends write about friends. This is one true tribute even if it has been a while. SM::comfort:

The price we pay for love can be the great loss we sense when our good friend or relative pass away, or a relationship ends. My first time reading this emotive write, it was touching
