With some it takes time to learn this lesson for happiness...being content with aloneness TRULY does bring happiness...a great piece of truth, well said....
Sometimes or maybe all the time thats where I find my greatest gifts and strengths . Always in high regards my friend… Jesse

Yes.... I couldn't agree more.... but whether alone or lonely sometimes it still is a challenge. A tough lesson for sme, contentment in aloneness.... well done Socrates...well said.
Hi, The credit to differentiate betweet {loneliness} & {aloneness} should go to Osho Rajneesh, who died in 1990 leaving behind about 6oo books of wisdom, spiritualism, mystecism, hard hitting lectures of all fakes,no do gooders, and a host of useless people(read here as Babas} whose only mission in India is rake in money by giving false sermons to the people. As far as your poem goes, its fine, but please doread Osho's books on {Loneleness} & {Aloneness}. with regards, always_besids.

Thanks for your comment.
However, several persons have made the distinction between "aloneness" and "loneliness" before Osho. One such person is Paul Tillich, a German Theologian, who died in 1965. Using the word solitude instead of aloneness, he wrote:
"Loneliness expresses the pain of being alone and solitude expresses the glory of being alone."
Hits home Socrates. Checking out a few of the past gems I have missed as I came in later then most.
