Ode To Change
Everything changes, everything passes
Whatever touches the heart, airs the heart
Lightly, delicately, leaving only its fragrance
The fragrance of life that is lived
Sweet or bitter, joy or despair
Its fragrance unblocks the heart
Allows the blood to flow freely.
Everything changes, everything passes
Whatever touches the heart, airs the heart
Attachment blocks the heart
It smothers, it chokes the stuff of life
A heart that is blocked .. suffers pain
Shrivels and dies, there is no love
No love, no growth, no expansion.
Everything changes, everything passes
Whatever touches the heart, airs the heart
Circulating, pumping freely flowing through
The heart is the conduit of connection
Connection to love, to all things light
What is not in the dark is in the light
What is not hidden, is aired, is known.
