Tardiness

Tardiness

I’m always rushing,
I’m always late
When I reach Heaven
They’ll close the Gate

I never seem to
Have enough…
Of time, I mean
It’s precious stuff.

I’d like to be
Without much stress
But it’s always there
I must confess

I rack my brains
To find the ‘key’
To change my habits’
I try.... you see.

But organized
I cannot be
Just don’t know how
Oh… woe is me

I may surprise
Myself and find
That one day…
I will be on time!
