Cattle Creek

Under the bridge
Where the two rivers meet
The cooling waters
Soothe weary feet
A rumble is heard
From the cars overhead
As we make our way
To the riverbed
Crystal waters flow
With rhythmic ease
From mountain streams
Towards the sea
As the march sun
Has it's say
While we search the creek
For a place to play
Sparkling rapids boil
Along round smooth stones
Enhancing our day
As we cool our bones
A lovely creek
Along the way
A pleasant dip
To make our day......
