Leaping Leprechaun

Why wiggle my toes
As everyone knows
There’s magic in the air
Why wrinkle my nose
Make my eyes close
Watch me disappear
My skin’s a little wrinkled
I’m small as you can get
My age is not that simple
So you better not forget
And hiding my gold coins
Under rainbows I beget
All my mischief ever done
Make you terribly upset
Let today be full of sunshine
Never mind any regret
'Cause a day you can be Irish
Will be the best one ever yet

I'm late for St. Patrick's Day, but really love this poem. Very cheerful and fun! I needed that as here in New York State and yesterday the snow flurries are flying on April 23 and 24th! Thanks for cheering me up!cheering
