Dancing Alone

Some times I will dance by myself
Searching for a lover that was lost
Carelessly many times in the past
Dropped like a coin in the water
A leaf pushed offshore by a breeze
We let each other go and drift away
When we stopped loving each other
We decided not to show we cared
No matter how hard we tried
We just couldn’t get it right
That part... that ‘''character’''
That crosses in the same orbit
Like two souls dancing alone

Sadly when I dance alone it is not like I am looking for anything but my sanity

Yet I could visualize this poem. Often I think back to my husband and I dancing in the kitchen. I so miss those moments.

I love to dance, I can't keep still when I hear good music. Though to me there is nothing better than being in a lovers arms, dancing reeeeeeal slooooooow.

Yet another great authentic heartfelt expressive poem ,,,,I like so many can relate to this...so many dance halls could be filled with those that loved and lost and currently dance alone ...such is life and it's highs and lows which can be tough very challenging .
I'm ready to dance again....I hope you are too :)
