Breaking my heart

Today I cried
I've really tried
You won't seek help
You're drowning
Pulling me down with you
I don't want to die
I'm finally starting to feel alive
What did you think
I would do
When you told me
you continue to hurt you
I want to run and hide
I'm scared if I leave you
You will die
How do I get through to you
God knows I've tried
I made you my guy
Seems like all I do is cry
And you won't even try
My heart is breaking everyday
I no longer know what to say
All I can do is pray .

Abby: When I get to feeling down now - I go to Psalm 139 and read it through. It is very comforting to me. I just finished a very intense 29 week Bible study called "Healing Journey" and they use that Psalm as the study is about healing wounds past and present and they give you tools to deal with these hurts. In this life, each of us individuals have to travel our own journey. No one else can do it for us. So as loved ones we can only do what you are already doing - praying and putting that person in God's hands. Stay strong my friend.

so sad Abby yet there comes a time you have to let go if the other will not even try. Otherwise you yourself will end up depressed and brought down. Sometimes by walking away you give the other the shake needed so they too can move forward hugs
