Kryptonite Of Time

I once had the potential to be superman
When I was young when I was young
Fast came the kryptonite of time and then
I got stung I got stung

My hair turned gray and fell away
Tired and forgetful became everyday
Once I was I but now I'm me
Tomorrow is here and no longer waits you see

Why run so fast to cross a hill
There is no place where all stands still
You make no search but yet you find
And suddenly you meet the kryptonite of time

Oh how true for all of us. The fact is though - I don't feel 65 inside! Sometimes I feel like a kid, sometimes a teenager - sometimes a young adult, middle age adult. But NEVER do I feel like a Senior Citizen!! dunno crying Thanks so much for sharing!teddybear

Eye...Interesting view of changes in ourselves....guess it truly is the way we perceive it and that is what influences our lives! I know that the mind is powerful thing...as we think, so could it be! I am senior by chronological age but not in the mind and thankfully my body agrees! Life holds much promise..each day unfolds for us to experience...time does exist and pass but it needn't take our ageless mindset with it...enjoy life that is given...
