at a crossroad

Sometimes I want to walk away
I dont want to see your face
just your smile alone
makes me want to cry
When you touch me with your kiss
I fall into that deep abyss
And then it hits me
hard enough to realize

I will never hold your heart
I will never see what lies behind your eyes
I will never know what being loved by you feels like
I will never hold your heart

sometimes I want to turn my back
Who really cares how you'd react
I want to hurt you just as much
as how you're hurting me
when you hold my shakey hands
and tell me that you're glad we're friends
inside my chest another piece of me dies
and then it hits me hard enough to realize

I will never hold your heart
I will never see what lies behind your eyes
I will never know what being loved by you feels like
I will never hold your heart

the only thing that matters more
than having you call me yours
is that stoney path leading to your happiness
and thats the reason why I wish...

I could just walk away.
