My search for you has brought me far, My only guide has been a star Of love which dwells within my heart And flickers still 'tho we're apart.
A star that glows, becomes a fire Engulfing me with sweet desire To see at last your lovely face And feel first hand your sweet embrace.
The warmth of you when you were near Would fill me with eternal cheer The happiness that you would bring Your kiss would make me feel a king.
And 'tho to me you still are lost There is no bridge I will not cross. No road, no river, land or sea Can ever keep your love from me.
I'll keep on searching 'til I find That which I seek, your love divine. The joy that you alone can bring To me you are my everything.

About this poem:
I have written this for a very special lady whose mere presence on this site makes my heart sing.If by some miracle I win her heart I will be the happiest (and luckiest) guy on the planet.
You are sure to win your lady's heart, as there is hardly a woman who could remain indifferent to such beautiful and earnest words. There are some poems here that I reread very often. This poem of yours will also be one of such-my favourite one. Thank you for it.Llaime
I truly hope that you can win her love. Your poetic effort is a good one. I know that you and everyone else here deserves to win the love and affection that we all so desire. I wish you the best in your efforts, and hope she can see this and respond. ......good luck. ....

It makes us no that men search for true love as much as we do.
Thank you for it.Llaime
