You are sun
Now rise bring your light
flood open space,
You who turns the night
show brightened face,
you lift tortured soul
with steady gaze,
you give all and
hope no longer waits.
Let what long winter faded
be renewed,
embrace with loving arms
whom once refused,
love blossoms now
once hidden peeking through,
as flower's do in
radiant splendent hues.
Glowing one you're as
much felt as seen,
your warmth through the
bitter coldness beams,
selfless to a fault
you've always been,
so you ignore my faults
as though unkeen.
Centre of my world
this universe,
Make cloud and lingering
haze at once disperse,
Make laughter, joy, at last
become the first,
And all that's felt compel to put to verse.
